Punjab Schemes FAQ — Common Questions
20+ answers about eligibility, documents, applications, and privacy
Does Apna Scheme Tool save my eligibility form data?
No. We do not save your eligibility tool answers in our database and we do not share them with any third party. Your data is used only during that single page request to calculate and display your result. Only contact form messages are saved when you voluntarily contact us.
Does this tool guarantee scheme approval?
No. Our tool checks basic published eligibility criteria only. The government performs its own verification, balloting, PLRA cross-checks, BISP checks, and field visits before making a final decision. Many factors beyond our tool can affect approval.
Is Apna Scheme Tool an official government website?
No. This is an independent information and eligibility guide website operated by Muhammad Mehtab from Lahore. We are not affiliated with the Government of Punjab, Agriculture Department, PSDF, PHATA, or Social Welfare. Always apply through official portals like agripunjab.gov.pk.
How much land is required for Green Tractor Scheme?
For the standard Green Tractor (50–65 HP), you need a minimum of 5 acres of verified agricultural land in Punjab. For Hi-Power Tractor, the minimum is 7 acres. The land must be registered in your name in PLRA or revenue records.
Can Kissan Card defaulters apply for Green Tractor?
Generally no. If you have outstanding dues on your Kissan Card, you must clear them before applying for Green Tractor Phase III. The Agriculture Department cross-checks default status during verification.
Can I apply for both Green Tractor and Kissan Card?
Yes, if you meet the eligibility criteria for both schemes independently. However, being a defaulter on one scheme may block your application for the other. Each scheme has separate application processes on the official portal.
What documents are needed for Kissan Card?
You typically need: valid CNIC, PLRA land ownership record (Fard), a mobile SIM registered on your CNIC, passport-size photograph, and bank account details. Requirements may vary by phase — always check the official Agriculture Punjab portal.
How do I check my PLRA land record online?
Visit the Punjab Land Records Authority website or use the PLRA mobile app. Enter your CNIC and select your district and tehsil. If the record shows wrong acreage or ownership, visit your local patwari or PLRA office to correct it before applying for any scheme.
Can I get Parwaaz Card without an overseas job offer?
No. A valid overseas employment offer letter or signed contract from a recognized employer is mandatory for the PSDF Parwaaz Card. Without this document, your application will be rejected.
Who is eligible for Himmat Card?
Persons with disabilities who are Punjab residents, hold a valid disability certificate from an authorized medical board, are not employed in a government job, and are not simultaneously receiving major benefits like BISP stipend. Minors can apply through a guardian.
Can I receive both Himmat Card and BISP?
Generally no. The government prevents "double dipping" — receiving duplicate benefits from multiple welfare programs. If you already receive a significant BISP monthly stipend, you may be disqualified from Himmat Card.
What is the income limit for Apni Chat Apna Ghar?
The income threshold varies by phase and project. Generally, families with monthly household income below approximately Rs 50,000 qualify. You must also not already own a pucca (permanent) house anywhere in Pakistan. Verify the current limit on acag.punjab.gov.pk.
What is the age requirement for Dhee Rani Program?
The bride must be at least 18 years old (the legal marriage age in Pakistan). The family must have Punjab domicile and demonstrate genuine financial need. This program supports first marriages only, not remarriage.
How long does scheme approval take?
Timeline varies by scheme. Kissan Card verification may take 1–3 weeks. Green Tractor involves balloting followed by 4–8 weeks of verification and delivery. Housing and marriage schemes depend on project schedules and district quotas. There is no fixed timeline for all schemes.
Are there any fees to use this website or apply for schemes?
Our eligibility tools are completely free. Official government applications are also free — never pay agents who claim they can guarantee approval. If anyone asks for money to "fix" your application, it is a scam. Report them to local authorities.
What if my PLRA record shows wrong information?
Visit your local patwari, tehsil revenue office, or PLRA center to request a correction. Common issues include wrong acreage, land listed under a deceased owner, or unmapped plots. Correct your record before applying — incorrect records are the number one reason for rejection.
Can tenants (batai-dar) apply for agricultural schemes?
Generally no. Green Tractor, Kissan Card, and similar agricultural schemes require verified land ownership in your name. Tenants who farm land owned by someone else are typically not eligible, though they may benefit if the landowner applies.
